Spain – EAS Barcelona is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a major fleet expansion valued at over Euro 4 million.
EAS Barcelona has committed to acquiring six Tecnam P2006T NG twin‑engine trainers, significantly enhancing multi‑engine training capability for Integrated ATPL students.
The academy will also add two Tecnam P‑Mentor aircraft to its single‑engine training fleet, following an order placed in late 2025.
With these additions, EAS Barcelona now operates the largest Tecnam training fleet in Spain, exceeding 30 aircraft with an average fleet age of less than four years.
The new aircraft will progressively enter service starting mid‑2026, supporting both foundational and advanced pilot training stages.
Equipped with Rotax 912iSc3 engines, the P2006T NG and P‑Mentor offer roughly 20 % lower fuel consumption per flight hour, advancing EAS Barcelona’s commitment to sustainability in flight training.
