Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology Promotes Tom Rogers to Vice President of Flight Operations at Colorado Campus

Colorado, USA – Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, one of the oldest aviation training institutions in the United States founded in 1928, has promoted Tom Rogers to Vice President of Flight Operations at its Broomfield, Colorado campus, effective April 2026.

  • Rogers has served as Chief Flight Instructor at Spartan College since 2024, a position he continues to hold alongside his expanded VP responsibilities, giving him dual oversight of flight training standards and operational management.
  • Prior to joining Spartan, Rogers held positions including Managing Director of Aviation & Aerospace at Auburn University RFID Lab (2022–2023), Director of Operational Planning at Phoenix East Aviation in Daytona Beach (2020–2022), and Chief Flight Instructor at Falcon Aviation Academy in Newnan, Georgia (2018–2020), where he also served as Assistant Chief Flight Instructor and High Performance Program Chief.
