Spartan Education Group Leadership Attends Colorado Aerospace Day to Advocate for Flight Training and Workforce Development

Colorado, USA – Spartan Education Group (SEG), a US-based pilot and aircraft maintenance training group, and its Colorado-based flight training subsidiary McAir Aviation participated in Colorado Aerospace Day at the Colorado State Capitol, with senior leadership engaging state legislators on the role of flight training in workforce development and economic growth.

  • Rob Polston, Chief Executive Officer and Todd Cellini, Chief Operating Officer of Spartan Education Group, represented both McAir Aviation and Spartan Education Group at the event, engaging with members of the Colorado General Assembly through the state's General Aviation Caucus.
  • The engagement focused on communicating the economic and workforce impact of general aviation and professional flight training activity in Colorado to senators and representatives.
  • McAir Aviation is a Denver-area FAA Part 141 flight training organisation operating since 1994 from its primary base at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (BJC), and has recently expanded to a second Colorado training campus at Colorado Air and Space Port in Watkins, deploying a fleet of ten aircraft across both locations.
  • McAir Aviation participates in the Allegiant-partnered Altitude Pilot Pathway programme, providing a structured route from ab initio training to airline entry for aspiring commercial pilots in the Colorado region.

Spartan Education Group's aviation training network spans more than 160 aircraft used in FAA and international CAA-regulated flight training across its campuses.
