Texas, USA – Spartan Flight Academy, a Grand Prairie, Texas-based FAA Part 61 flight training organisation and the newest addition to the Spartan Education Group (SEG) network, has expanded its training fleet with the delivery of a Piper Archer PA-28-181 equipped with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit and dual-axis autopilot.

  • The new Piper Archer joins an existing mixed fleet of Cessna and Piper Archer aircraft at the academy, providing students with exposure to modern glass cockpit avionics consistent with those used across contemporary commercial flight environments.
  • Spartan Flight Academy was formally rebranded from Aviator Air Flight School in December 2025, following SEG's acquisition of the Grand Prairie-based training provider in October 2025. The academy is part of SEG's nationwide training network, which now operates more than 160 aircraft across schools in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Illinois and California.
