Texas, USA - Spartan Flight Academy, a US-based professional pilot training provider operating under Spartan Education Group (SEG), has received FAA Part 141 approval for its flight training operations in Texas, expanding structured pilot training capacity in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The approval enables the academy to deliver FAA-approved curricula for professional pilot certification pathways at Grand Prairie Municipal Airport (KGPM).

  • The FAA Part 141 approval allows Spartan Flight Academy to provide structured, syllabus-based pilot training programs under FAA oversight.
  • Training programs offered include:
    • Private Pilot Certificate (PPC)
    • Instrument Rating (IR)
    • Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPC)
    • Multi-Engine Rating (MEL)
    • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
  • The academy operates from Grand Prairie Municipal Airport (KGPM), providing students exposure to both controlled and non-controlled airspace environments.
  • Spartan Flight Academy’s facility includes classroom and briefing areas, flight planning resources, and direct flight-line access to support training operations.
  • The approval follows Spartan Education Group’s continued expansion of its aviation training network, including the acquisition of Aviator Air Flight School in Texas in late 2025.

Spartan Education Group’s network now includes multiple FAA-approved Part 141 training operations across the United States, including McAir Aviation in Colorado and Illinois Aviation Academy in Illinois.
