Sporty's and ForeFlight Launch 8-Hour Power Users Training Course for EFB Proficiency

USA – Sporty's, has launched ForeFlight Power Users Training, a new online course developed by ForeFlight and available exclusively on the Sporty's Pilot Training platform, delivering over eight hours of structured training on the ForeFlight electronic flight bag application.

• The course is structured across three progressive sections — Fundamentals, Advanced, and Logbook — covering the full flight workflow from initial iPad setup and aircraft configuration through to advanced in-flight tools and digital logbook management.
• Fundamentals lessons cover iPad settings optimisation, aircraft and app data configuration, and essential planning and weather briefing tools. The Advanced section covers dynamic procedures, integrated weight and balance, performance calculations, and in-flight decision-making tools. The Logbook section addresses entries, reporting, currency tracking, and instructor tools.
• The course uses interactive training sessions requiring pilots to follow the same workflows used in actual flight operations, designed to build practical proficiency rather than passive feature familiarity.
• ForeFlight Power Users Training is available for $75 on the Sporty's Pilot Training online platform and the Sporty's Pilot Training app for iPhone and iPad.
