United Kingdom – Stansted Airport College, operated by Harlow College at London Stansted Airport, has highlighted its pilot training partnership with UK CAA-approved training organisation Resilient Pilot. The collaboration provides aviation students with access to specialist instruction, mentoring and practical industry insight to support their preparation for commercial and military pilot careers.

  • The college's September 2026 announcement outlines the delivery of its Pilot Enrichment program through Resilient Pilot’s specialist NextGen Aviator programme.
  • Students will receive instruction and mentoring from operational airline pilots, providing exposure to professional flight operations and the competencies expected of pilots entering the aviation industry.
  • The partnership incorporates practical workshops and scenario-based learning to develop non-technical skills, including communication, teamwork, decision-making, situational awareness and resilience.
  • Students will also have access to Resilient Pilot's Resilience Deck platform, which supports the continuous development of pilot competencies, human factors knowledge and observable behaviours. The training approach incorporates principles of Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA).
  • AFM previously reported that the two organisations established a training partnership in October 2025, when Resilient Pilot announced plans to deliver its NextGen Aviator program to more than 30 Stansted Airport College students.
