Sudisha Aviation Becomes Hillsboro Aero Academy’s Official Representative in Nepal

Nepal & USA – Nepalese aviation consultancy Sudisha Aviation Consultant (SAC) has become the authorised representative in Nepal for Oregon-based flight training provider Hillsboro Aero Academy (HAA), formalising a local recruitment and student-support pathway for Nepali pilot candidates. The arrangement gives HAA an in-country recruitment channel while connecting prospective students with a CAAN-recognised US flight training pathway and HAA’s fixed-wing and rotorcraft training capacity.

• HAA currently operates 102 training aircraft, comprising 81 fixed-wing aircraft and 21 helicopters, and averages approximately 800 domestic and international students and 85,000 flight hours annually. Its fleet includes Cessna 152s, Cessna 172s, Piper Seminoles and Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters.
• SAC describes the agreement as making it HAA’s authorised and exclusive representative in Nepal, supporting prospective students through flight school selection, CAAN requirements, No Objection Certificate processes, visa preparation and enrolment.
• HAA received approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal in March 2026, allowing Nepalese students to undertake recognised airplane flight training at the academy in the United States. HAA’s own CAAN approval announcement specifically referenced airplane training; SAC now markets both airplane and helicopter pathways through the partnership.
• HAA provides fixed-wing professional pilot training at its Hillsboro and Redmond campuses in Oregon, while helicopter training is delivered from Troutdale. The academy has trained students from more than 75 countries since its establishment in 1980.
• AFM also previously reported that HAA’s 2025 activity included more than 86,000 flight hours, 1,357 successful check rides, seven new Cessna 172 aircraft and one Piper Seminole, alongside the launch of its first EASA airplane student group.
