Swedish Flight School Welcomes Diverse New September 2025 Class with 40 Percent Women
Sweden — Green Flight Academy has welcomed its latest intake of 17 students, marking continued growth in its commitment to sustainable, airline-focused pilot training. Notably, 40% of the class are women, reinforcing the academy’s focus on diversity and inclusion within the global pilot training landscape. The new class reflects growing international interest, with students from Sweden, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, and Latvia.
In February of this year Green Flight Academy had shared that it had reached a significant milestone, completing 5,000 electric take-offs and landings, reinforcing its position as a global leader in sustainable pilot training. Since its launch in 2022, the academy has focused on training commercial pilots with an emphasis on fossil-free aviation.
