Switzerland’s AELO Swiss Academy Sees Growing Demand for Flight Training in 2025
18th Feb 2025
Locarno, Switzerland – AELO Swiss Academy, powered by AeroLocarno, continues to strengthen its position as a high-performance aviation training institution, prioritizing quality over volume in pilot training.
- Over 60 aspiring pilots and parents attended AELO’s Open Day in February 2025, highlighting growing interest in the academy’s structured, airline-standard training programs.
- AELO has seen a strong increase in demand despite raising tuition fees and tightening admission criteria, reflecting a long-term approach focused on reputation and quality.
- The academy fully integrates Evidence-Based Training (EBT) and KSA 100 methodologies, ensuring students develop competencies required in modern airline operations.
- AELO states that unlike flight schools that maximize enrollment numbers without sufficient resources, AELO maintains sustainable student-to-instructor ratios to avoid training delays.
- Two-thirds of AELO’s 37 flight instructors are active airline pilots from Swiss, Lufthansa, Air Dolomiti, Ryanair, DHL, and more, providing students with real-world airline exposure.
