26th Mar 2025

Australia – flight training group Sydney Flight College (SFC) has welcomed its second cohort of cadets to its Tamworth campus, more than doubling its intake since the site’s launch in July 2023.

  • SFC Tamworth welcomed 33 new students on 10 February, up from the initial intake of 16 students.
  • With plans for four intakes annually, the college aims to have nearly 100 students training concurrently by end of 2025.
  • SFC’s long-term goal is to grow its Tamworth student body to 200 within three years.
  • The first intake at Tamworth recorded a 75% first-pass rate, surpassing results from the college’s Bankstown campus.
  • SFC attributes these outcomes to its structured training programs, experienced instructors, and an immersive learning environment.
