October 8, 2026

United Kingdom – Aviation psychometric assessment provider Symbiotics has announced a collaboration with the UK Civil Aviation Authority's (CAA) STEM education platform to support aviation career awareness and workforce development. Through the partnership, Symbiotics will contribute industry knowledge, educational content, and professional insights to help students and prospective aviation professionals understand career opportunities and the skills required across the sector.

  • The CAA STEM initiative provides educational resources for young people across five age categories, beginning at ages 5–7 and extending to those aged 16 and above. Its activities focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), alongside career pathways into aviation and aerospace.
  • Under the collaboration, Symbiotics will share content and expertise covering aviation career opportunities and the professional competencies required across the industry, supporting the platform's engagement with students, educators and individuals considering aviation careers.
  • The CAA STEM platform offers free educational resources, aviation career guidance, interactive career assessments and information on apprenticeships, internships, graduate programs and work experience opportunities.
  • The initiative complements the CAA's existing education and outreach activities, including its 2026 virtual work experience program, which remains accessible until December 31, 2026.
  • Symbiotics provides more than 150,000 aviation assessments annually across over 80 countries through its ADAPT assessment platform. The company's activities support aviation recruitment and candidate selection for pilots, cabin crew and other industry roles.
