TAAG Angola Airlines Enhances Pilot Training Programs Through New Boeing Agreement
Angola – TAAG Angola Airlines has expanded its pilot training programs through a new agreement with Boeing announced at the 2025 Dubai Airshow. The enhanced training cooperation will introduce competency-based, data-informed training scenarios for both cadets and experienced pilots, supporting TAAG’s fleet growth and operational transformation efforts.

Boeing will provide tailored pilot-training solutions aligned with TAAG’s operational requirements, including scenario-based training for new aircraft induction and mission-specific operational profiles.

As part of the expanded services, Boeing will deploy experienced pilots to support TAAG during initial aircraft acceptance flights, start-up operational processes, and early flight monitoring for newly delivered aircraft.

Boeing’s on-the-job instruction and feedback structure is designed to strengthen pilot proficiency and ensure smooth transitions when integrating new aircraft types into TAAG’s fleet, including the airline’s emerging Dreamliner operations.

The partnership forms a core component of TAAG’s ongoing transformation strategy, which emphasises operational efficiency, technical capability, and sustained alignment with international safety standards.
