Tecnam Announces Strategic Alliance with Jeppesen ForeFlight at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026

Global – Italian aircraft manufacturer Tecnam and Jeppesen ForeFlight, Boeing's aviation data and electronic flight bag division, have announced a strategic alliance to deliver integrated navigation, charting, and flight planning capabilities to new Tecnam aircraft customers, unveiled at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026.

• Under the agreement, new Tecnam aircraft owners will receive a one-year subscription to Jeppesen NavData and Jeppesen Charts for their respective region, plus one ForeFlight Premium subscription accessible on personal smart devices and panel avionics.
• Tecnam has introduced a new option called the Jeppesen Premium Plan to integrate Jeppesen data solutions directly into Garmin avionics systems across its fleet, offered in two bundles:
  • Jeppesen ForeFlight Tecnam Bundle for G1000: available for the P2012, P2010, and P2006T models.
  • Jeppesen ForeFlight Tecnam Bundle for G3X: available for the P2008JC NG, P-Mentor, US/LSA, and MOSAIK59 models.
• The partnership ensures that Jeppesen navigation data and charting are factory-integrated from the point of aircraft production, eliminating the need for post-delivery setup by owners or flight schools.
• For flight training organisations operating Tecnam fleets — including the widely adopted P-Mentor and newly certified P2008JC NG — the alliance provides standardised EFB and navigation data provisioning across training aircraft, supporting consistency in student training environments.
• Tecnam currently has over 300 fourth-generation aircraft in its order book and recently received EASA CS-23 Amendment 6 certification for the P2008JC NG at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026.
