Netherlands – Tecnam has expanded its strategic partnership with Oriens Aviation by appointing the company as the exclusive Tecnam dealer for the Netherlands through a newly established Dutch subsidiary, building on the five-year relationship since Oriens became the authorised Sales and Service Centre for the British Isles in 2021.

  • Oriens Aviation is establishing a dedicated subsidiary company in the Netherlands to serve as the exclusive Tecnam dealer for the Dutch market, ensuring locally based sales, service, and support for Dutch flight schools and private aircraft owners.
  • The Dutch subsidiary will focus on two primary market segments:
    • Professional flight training (providing academies with modern fleets from the single-engine P2008JC NG through the P-Mentor IFR trainer to the multi-engine P2006T)
    • Private ownership (the Gran Lusso and Sport lines).
  • The Netherlands represents a dynamic aviation market with strong demand from established flight schools and a growing private ownership segment, and the local subsidiary model ensures Dutch operators receive the same responsive, localised support that Oriens has delivered in the UK and Ireland.
  • Oriens Aviation is based at London Biggin Hill Airport and holds EASA Part 145, UK CAA 145, and FAA Repair Station approvals, serving as an authorised center for Tecnam, Pilatus PC-12/PC-24, and Cirrus SR2X aircraft alongside aircraft management, AOC operations, and charter services.

Statements

  • "Since their appointment in 2021, Oriens Aviation has been a phenomenal partner for Tecnam. Their dedication to premium customer support and their deep understanding of our modern aircraft portfolio have made them an invaluable asset to our network. The Netherlands is a crucial market for us, and by opening a dedicated subsidiary there, we are confident that Oriens will deliver the exact same level of excellence and passion to Dutch operators as they have in the UK and Ireland," said Walter Da Costa, Chief Sales Officer at Tecnam.
  • "We are incredibly honoured to expand our representation of Tecnam into the Netherlands. Establishing a subsidiary in the Netherlands allows us to bring our full-service approach directly to the local market, empowering operators to upgrade to the most modern fleet in general aviation," said Edwin Brenninkmeyer, CEO at Oriens Aviation.
