TNC Aviation Outlines Global CPL and Type Rating Pathway for Indian Pilots via Phoenix East Aviation, PATA Malta and Ansett Aviation Training

March 19, 2026

India – TNC Aviation, one of India's largest pilot training facilitators and ground schools operating since 2009, has outlined its end-to-end international pilot training pathway for aspiring Indian commercial pilots, encompassing ab initio flight training, DGCA-compliant licensing, and type rating access through a network of global partners.

  • For ab initio CPL training in the United States, TNC Aviation partners with Phoenix East Aviation (PEA), a Daytona Beach, Florida-based flight training group with over 50 years of operational history, a fleet of over 70 aircraft, and campuses at Daytona Beach International Airport, a satellite facility in Fort Lauderdale, and an auxiliary training base in Flagler Beach; TNC Aviation's partnership with PEA has been active since 2020.
  • For EASA-compliant CPL training in Europe, TNC Aviation partners with Professional Aviation Training Academy (PATA) in Malta, providing students with exposure to European aviation standards, procedures, and airspace environments applicable to international airline operations.
  • Upon completion of CPL training and acquisition of an unrestricted licence, TNC Aviation facilitates access to type rating programmes through Ansett Aviation Training, a global full flight simulator training centre operator headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, operating over 30 full flight simulators across six training centres in Melbourne, Dubai, Milan, and Taipei.
  • Type ratings available through the TNC–Ansett pathway cover the Airbus A320, Boeing 737NG, and ATR 72-600 — the principal narrowbody and turboprop types operating across Indian and regional airline fleets.
  • TNC Aviation's services span DGCA-compliant CPL training pathway guidance, international flight training placement, licence conversion and regulatory compliance support, and career mentorship from aviation professionals.
