Training Aircraft Manufacturer and Pilot Training Solution Provider Grob Aircraft Showcased VR-Integrated Approach at MFT 2025
Italy – At the MFT 2025 conference, Grob Aircraft’s Chief Sales Officer Karl Fuernrohr (Charly) presented the company’s hybrid training vision that merges analog flying foundations with digital simulation tools. With a focus on preparing military pilots for increasingly complex missions, Grob highlighted how its training ecosystem bridges classroom instruction with operational realities.
- “In an increasingly contested airspace, the ability to train realistically and effectively is mission-critical,” stated Karl Fuernrohr during his address.
- Grob’s VR simulator solution enables a dynamic training environment that connects theoretical learning with real-time decision-making.
- “Our VR Simulator bridges the gap between theoretical instruction and operational readiness, offering a dynamic platform for next-generation aviators,” he explained.
- Fuernrohr drew on his personal background as an analog fighter pilot to stress the value of merging traditional skills with advanced tools.
- “We developed an aircraft that stays true to its analog foundations while seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology and a sophisticated ground training package,” he added.
- Grob Aircraft presented alongside global aerospace and training leaders including Boeing, Airbus, BAE Systems, CAE, Pilatus, and others.
