Turkish Airlines Flight Academy Celebrates 13 Years – Grows Fleet to Almost 60 Aircraft

Türkiye – Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA), the abinitio pilot training academy of Turkish Airlines, has marked its 13th anniversary, highlighting key operational metrics:

• Now operates nearly 60 aircraft with multiple deliveries in June

• The Academy has grown its flight training base network to conduct training at 6 airports across Türkiye

• Employs more than 100 instructors and over 200 aviation professionals

• Training currently nearly 500 students

• The academy plans to expand to 107 aircraft by Q1 2027, with 47 new aircraft expected by the end of 2025.

• Over the past five years, TAFA has graduated more than 900 pilots and recorded 220,000 flight hours as of December 2024.
