Türkiye – Turkish Airlines Quality Assurance Directorate has announced the conclusion of its traditional "Flyout" simulator quality control flight program, with the final Flyout checks being conducted this month as the airline transitions to a new organisational structure and control model aligned with updated EASA standards.

  • Flyout operations — simulator quality control flights conducted to verify that full flight simulators deliver the most realistic performance possible — have been a long-standing component of Turkish Airlines' simulator quality assurance process.
  • The retirement of the traditional Flyout process follows changes to EASA's current regulations and updated standards governing aviation training quality assurance, prompting a comprehensive restructuring of Turkish Airlines' simulator oversight methodology.
  • The Quality Assurance Directorate has indicated that the commitment to quality, standardisation, and safety will continue under the new organisational structure and updated control models, with the transition representing a modernisation of process rather than a reduction in oversight standards.
