Turkiye’s Atlantic Flight Academy Signs Contract with Simnest Aviation for A320 FNPT II MCC Simulator

Turkiye  – Atlantic Flight Academy (AFA), a Turkish flight training organisation, has signed a contract with Simnest Aviation for the acquisition of a Simnest Airbus A320 FNPT II MCC simulator, formalising a partnership first outlined earlier this year.

• The agreement follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the European Aviation Training Summit, and represents a concrete step in expanding AFA’s high-fidelity simulator training capability.

• The Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC will be used primarily for APS MCC courses and selected phases of AFA’s airline Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) programs, supporting cadets in developing airline-standard cockpit coordination, procedures, and decision-making skills.

• The simulator is scheduled for installation in Q2 2026 at AFA’s Istanbul base, increasing simulator capacity within one of Türkiye’s key pilot training hubs.

• In addition to its role within AFA’s training portfolio, the device will act as a strategic demonstrator supporting Simnest Aviation’s expansion across Türkiye and the wider region.
