UAE-based Pilot Training Organization Pier Seven Aviation Announces 2025 Appointment for Head of Training

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates – Pier Seven Aviation, a full flight simulator training center and Approved Training Organization (ATO), has announced the appointment of Capt. Anirudh Tyagi as its new Head of Training. With a career spanning nearly five decades, Capt. Tyagi brings deep operational, regulatory, and training expertise to Pier Seven Aviation.

• His previous leadership roles include key training and management positions at Indian Airlines, Gulf Air, and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

• Capt. Tyagi also served as an IOSA Auditor, providing him with comprehensive insight into global aviation safety standards, airline compliance frameworks, and audit-readiness.

• At Pier Seven Aviation, Capt. Tyagi will oversee:

  • Instructor development and training oversight

  • EASA and DGCA regulatory compliance

  • Operational and safety excellence

  • Audit readiness and curriculum quality

Pier Seven Aviation operates a fleet of six dynamic simulators, including the A320 NEO, A320 CEO, B737 CL, B737 NG, and B747.
