United Kingdom based Ascent Flight Training has announced that Russ Brannan has been appointed as the new Operations Director, effective from July 1, 2024 Russ transitions to this role from his current position as Support and Services Director.

Russ joined Ascent in 2022, bringing with him 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry. His career began as an Avionics Technician with the RAF, followed by a decade at Airbus. In his new role, Russ will lead teams across Ascent’s UK sites, collaborating closely with General Managers at RAF Valley, RAF Cranwell, RAF Shawbury, RNAS Culdrose, and the Bristol Training Hub.
