UK Flag Carrier Held Pilot Recruitment Event in the Middle East in October 2025

United Kingdom & United Arab Emirates – British Airways held a dedicated pilot recruitment roadshow in Abu Dhabi from 15–18 October 2025, reflecting its active efforts to attract experienced flight crew to multiple operating subsidiaries. The four-day event included drop-in sessions and assessment opportunities for various direct entry and command-track roles.

• The roadshow took place at the Crowne Plaza on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, and targeted both current and aspiring captains across British Airways and its subsidiary carriers.

• Positions promoted during the event included:

  • BA Euroflyer Direct Entry Captain

  • BA Euroflyer Aspiration for Command (internal upgrade track)

  • BA Cityflyer Direct Entry Captain

  • British Airways Direct Entry Pilot (mainline operations)

• The sessions provided candidates with an opportunity to meet the airline’s recruitment team and ask questions about working conditions, progression routes and application processes.
