UK Flight School, Leading Edge Aviation, Celebrates the Graduation of the Class of 2024
United Kingdom-headquartered pilot training group Leading Edge Aviation, which operates flight training bases in the UK and Spain, proudly hosted its 2024 graduation ceremony on 9th May, under the iconic Concorde at Aerospace Bristol. This year’s ceremony celebrated the accomplishments of 79 graduates, attended by more than 200 family members, friends, and representatives from the aviation industry and major airlines, including British Airways EuroFlyer, British Airways, Loganair, Titan Airways and Wizz Air.
Capt. John Meares, Director of Flight Operations at BA EuroFlyer, and the guest of honour at the event, remarked, “This is the third time I’ve had the pleasure of attending this fantastic event. It’s wonderful to celebrate what these talented graduates have achieved. We didn’t have events like this in my time, and it’s great for students and their families to be able to celebrate their success in this way. It was also fantastic to see so many Leading Edge graduates who have secured roles with BA EuroFlyer. We look forward to welcoming them to the team.”
Andy McFarlane, CEO of Leading Edge Aviation, expressed his pride in the graduates: “Today marks a significant milestone for our students, culminating years of hard work and dedication. We are immensely proud of what they have achieved and are excited to see them soar in their careers. Their resilience and commitment reflect our mission to provide top-tier aviation training.”
