UK;s Aeros Flight Training and Wizz Air Strengthen Partnership with Airline Tagging Initiative

United Kingdom - Aeros Flight Training has announced the introduction of its bespoke Airline Tagging initiative in collaboration with Wizz Air, an innovative approach designed to better connect aspiring pilots with airline recruitment opportunities through a more holistic approach to student assessment.

Developed as part of Aeros' commitment to supporting students beyond their flight training, the Aeros Airline Tagging moves beyond traditional measures of assessing technical performance by combining training data with the professional behaviours, attitudes and competencies that airlines value throughout the recruitment process.

Aeros has developed a bespoke matching framework that enables its Graduate Services team to identify students whose overall profile aligns with the airline's recruitment criteria. Rather than relying solely on examination results or licence completion, the system provides a broader picture of each student's potential as a future airline pilot.

Students identified through the programme can then be presented to Wizz Air for consideration, with the airline continuing to undertake its own recruitment, interview and assessment process.

The initiative reflects Aeros' wider philosophy that professional pilot development extends beyond passing exams, recognising the importance of attitude, professionalism, resilience and personal development alongside flying ability.

The first successful candidates will be announced this week, and future assessment dates are already planned for Autumn 2026.
