United Kingdom – Aeros Flight Training, one of the UK's most established modular pilot training academies, has welcomed 19 new students, in March 2026, commencing their ATPL theoretical knowledge course, adding a further cohort to the school's commercial pilot pipeline across its five-base UK operation.
- Aeros' full-time residential ATPL theory course comprises 120 days and 750 hours of instructor-led classroom tuition, delivered by experienced airline pilots Aeros, with distance learning options also available for students balancing training with existing work commitments.
- Aeros operates an EASA exam centre in conjunction with Austro Control, offering examination dates open to all candidates from any EASA-approved ATO Aeros — a resource available to the new cohort throughout their 14-subject theory programme.
- Established in 1986, Aeros operates bases in Cardiff, Gloucester, Wellesbourne, Leeds, and Fife Aeros, and positions its Fastrack modular programme as an accessible alternative to integrated training at approximately half the cost, enabling students to continue working during training.
- Aeros graduates are currently flying for a range of carriers including British Airways, Ryanair, easyJet, Turkish Airlines, Norwegian, and Emirates Aeros, reflecting the school's track record of placing modular students into airline roles across the UK and internationally.
