United Kingdom - Aeros Flight Training has strengthened its relationship with the British Airways Speedbird Pilot Academy, welcoming an additional cohort of successful applicants who have chosen to complete their professional pilot training through Aeros modular training pathway.

The latest intake follows Aeros previously announced involvement in the Speedbird Pilot Academy programme and represents a further step in the academy's growing relationship with British Airways. The students will undertake their training with Aeros as they progress towards their future airline careers.

As the UK's most established modular flight training academy, Aeros offers flexible training pathways designed to provide students with greater accessibility and control over their training journey, while maintaining the highest professional standards. Through its Fast-Track and Flexi-Track programmes, students can progress from their first flight through to commercial licence issue within a structured and supportive training environment.

The latest intake reflects Aeros' continued investment in preparing students for airline careers. Alongside technical flight training, the academy has developed a structured approach to monitoring student progression, enabling instructors to assess not only training performance but also the professional behaviours, decision-making, communication skills and competencies expected by modern airlines.

This philosophy extends into Aeros' expanding Graduate Services programme, which has been designed to support students throughout their training journey and into employment. Rather than focusing solely on licence completion, the programme aims to help students develop the wider skills, knowledge and professionalism required for a successful airline career.

Nick Dunn, CEO of Aeros Flight Training, said: "We're proud to see our relationship with British Airways continue to develop and to welcome additional Speedbird Pilot Academy students to Aeros.

At Aeros, our focus has always been on developing professional pilots, not simply helping students pass training courses. Technical competence is obviously essential, but today's airlines are also looking for communication skills, decision-making ability, professionalism and the behaviours that underpin safe flight operations.

Our training team has worked hard to embed these principles throughout the student journey. Through our structured training environment, ongoing performance monitoring and developing Graduate Services programme, we're able to support students from day one of training through to airline recruitment and beyond.

The fact that additional Speedbird Pilot Academy students have chosen to undertake their journey with Aeros is a strong endorsement of our training philosophy, our people and the supportive environment we've created across the organisation."

The development further strengthens Aeros' position as a leading provider of commercial pilot training in the UK and reflects the academy's commitment to building strong relationships across the airline industry while supporting the next generation of professional pilots.
