UK's Aeros Maintenance Welcomes Amgad Ahmed as Full-Time Maintenance Manager

United Kingdom – Aeros Maintenance, a UK-based aircraft maintenance organisation operating from Gloucester, has appointed Amgad Ahmed as full-time Maintenance Manager, strengthening the organisation's in-house engineering leadership as it continues to grow its maintenance and training capability.

  • Ahmed joins in a dual capacity as Maintenance Manager and the organisation's licensed UK CAA B1.2 Engineer, responsible for overseeing maintenance provision across the fleet and ensuring compliance, safety and aircraft availability standards are maintained.
  • The appointment follows Aeros Maintenance's recent investment in its engineering workforce pipeline. In early 2026, the organisation launched a fully funded B1.2 engineer training pathway and subsequently expanded its engineering team following strong demand for the programme.
  • Aeros Maintenance provides maintenance support for the Aeros Limited fleet of Tecnam and Diamond aircraft used by the group's Flight Training Organisation, and also accepts privately owned G-registered aircraft including Piper and Cessna types. The organisation also offers hangarage space for private aircraft at its Gloucester base.
