United Airlines' Wholly-Owned Flight School United Aviate Academy Celebrates Latest Cohort of 14 Graduates in March 2026

Arizona, USA – United Aviate Academy (UAA), the wholly-owned flight school of United Airlines, has celebrated the graduation of 14 student pilots in its latest commencement ceremony, continuing the academy's structured pipeline of airline-ready graduates destined for careers within the United Airlines ecosystem.

The graduation ceremony was addressed by commencement speaker Captain Mike Bonner and UAA CEO Michael Hales, who shared remarks as the 14 graduates prepare for the next phase of their aviation careers.

Since opening at the end of 2021, United Aviate Academy students have cumulatively accrued over 100,000 flight hours, achieved more than 2,000 aviation certificates, and completed over 200,000 takeoffs and landings. More than 30 graduates are already employed at United Express carriers.
