United Airlines released a video in time for International Woman’s Day highlighting the Woman of its Flight School – United Aviate Academy and to celebrate that 80% of the inaugural class of future pilots at UAA identify as women or people of color.

“Currently, 6% of all U.S. pilots are women and 6% are people of color. Our new flight school is going to change that: 80% of the inaugural class of future pilots at United Aviate Academy (UAA) identify as women or people of color. Dana Donati, CEO of UAA, is one of the few women in America to run a flight school that is in her words, ‘…changing the face of aviation’,” said United on LinkedIn.
