Texas, USA– US Aviation Academy (USAA), one of North America’s largest pilot training organisations, has appointed Mark Mattison to Vice President of Military Programs following the award of a 10‑year, $835 million contract to provide Initial Pilot Training (IPT) for the United States Air Force (USAF).   • USAA’s military training team comprises experienced instructors, maintainers, and retired rated Colonels, delivering foundational general aviation competencies under FAA Part 141 rules tailored to military pilot progression.
  • To support expanded military training demand, USAA is investing in facility growth, including development of a new training location in New Braunfels, Texas, aimed at increasing capacity to train additional Air Force pilot candidates when needed.
