Florida, USA – US Aviation Academy (USAA), one of the largest flight and aircraft maintenance training groups in the United States operating over 275 aircraft, has held its first graduation at its new Kissimmee, Florida campus.
In late May US Aviation Academy (USAA) had announced the simultaneous opening of two new Florida facilities — a flight training campus in Fort Pierce and an FAA Part 147-approved Aviation Maintenance Technician School (AMTS) at Kissimmee Gateway Airport (KISM).
The dual Florida opening cements the state as the next major step in USAA's growing nationwide footprint, adding to its existing network of 11 training campuses and fleet of over 200 aircraft, supported by more than 325 flight instructors maintaining a graduate-to-instructor hiring rate upward of 90%.
