Oregon, United States – Hillsboro Aero Academy, one of the United States’ largest professional flight training providers for fixed wing and rotor, participated in the State of Oregon’s 2025 Trade Mission to Korea and Japan, underscoring its commitment to international collaboration in aviation training. Representing HAA, Talent Acquisition Manager Ashley Souza engaged with key aviation stakeholders to strengthen ties and explore new global partnerships.

• As part of the official Oregon delegation, HAA met with aviation organisations across Korea and Japan, including airlines, helicopter operators, business aviation companies, training institutions, and national associations such as the Japan Business Aviation Association.

• HAA also reconnected with long-standing academic partner Korea Aerospace University (KAU), further deepening a strategic alliance focused on pilot training and career development.

• HAA hosted seminars in Seoul to engage with aspiring pilots, highlighting the school’s global footprint and reputation for high-quality instruction.

• With students from over 75 countries enrolled in its FAA-accredited Professional Pilot Program, HAA continues to support airlines, corporate operators, and government aviation agencies worldwide.

• The mission was organised by Business Oregon and supported by Oregon Governor Tina Kotek, showcasing the state’s aerospace and education sectors as integral contributors to international trade.
