Arizona, USA – Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott campus has formally opened a new flight line facility, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the completion of the latest infrastructure investment at the campus's flight training operation — adding purpose-built capacity to one of the largest collegiate aviation programmes in the United States.

  • The new building is located on the Prescott flight line, the operational hub of the campus's flight training programme, and is designed to directly support flight training activities and the day-to-day operational requirements of student pilots and instructors at the facility.
  • The Prescott campus houses Embry-Riddle's College of Aviation, which in February 2026 appointed Maj. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt, USAF (Ret.) — the first female US Air Force fighter pilot and former Chief of Safety for the USAF and US Space Force — as its new Dean, a leadership appointment that signals the university's continued investment in the operational and academic quality of its aviation programmes.
  • Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, founded in 1926, is the world's largest fully accredited university specialising in aviation, aerospace, engineering, and related fields, with the Prescott, Arizona campus complementing its primary Daytona Beach, Florida facility.
