India – US-based conglomerate Carbonatik has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) valued at ₹31,500 crore (approximately USD 3.75 billion) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh at the CII Partnership Summit 2025, marking a major investment in India’s aviation infrastructure and training ecosystem.
A key highlight of the MoU is a ₹7,100 crore investment to establish a comprehensive aviation cluster at Kurnool Airport.
The cluster will include:
India’s largest Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility
Flight Training Organisation (FTO)
FFS Training Center
The announcement was made in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and senior Carbonatik executives including President Brendan T. Fitzpatrick and COO Anand Malaimegam.
