Kissimmee, Florida– AeroStar Training Services, a US-based pilot training organisation and full flight simulator training center, is seeking a Simulator Maintenance Technician Level 3 to support Airbus A320 and Boeing 737NG full-flight simulators.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve complex system issues beyond standard maintenance proceduresProvide technical guidance, supervision, and instruction to subcontractor techniciansConduct quality control inspections on maintenance work performedMaintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities in logistics management databasesPerform systems interface, troubleshooting, and fault isolationWork with various computer systems, networks, and operating systemsInterpret mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic schematicsEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Candidate Requirements
Must be eligible to work in the USA (No international sponsorships available)Technical College Degree or equivalent education/experience3+ years of experience in simulator maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairHands-on experience with full-flight simulators or aviation simulation technologyStrong computer, networking, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read technical schematics and analyze electrical diagramsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to lift 40 lbs overheadMust be able to climb stairs, ladders, and enter cockpitsAbility to stoop, bend, and crawl under or on top of equipmentMust be able to distinguish colors and detect odors/noises for troubleshootingExposure to electrical shock risks, hydraulic systems, extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noise
