Florida, USA – MyFlight, the Central Florida-based premium flight school and Diamond Aircraft Service Center, has announced that a new DA40 NG simulator with Garmin G1000 avionics is expected to be available for student use in late July 2026, adding synthetic training capability alongside the school's recently expanded five-aircraft Diamond DA40 NG fleet.

The DA40 NG simulator will replicate the Garmin G1000 avionics environment used in MyFlight's DA40 NG training fleet, enabling students to practice flight maneuvers, emergency procedures, task management, cockpit workload, and avionics proficiency in a controlled training environment.
The simulator addition complements MyFlight's significant 2026 fleet expansion: five new DA40 NG aircraft delivered this year (three in the latest batch plus two at Sun 'n Fun), with the simulator providing a cost-effective supplement to aircraft-based training hours.
The device will support checkride preparation, confidence building, and reinforcement of aircraft-based training, reducing the need to use revenue-generating aircraft hours for procedures and avionics familiarisation that can be effectively trained in simulation.
The combined investment in five new DA40 NG aircraft and a matching simulator reflects MyFlight's rapid scaling as a Diamond-aligned premium training operation in Central Florida's competitive flight training market.

The organisation has two locations in the Orlando area. Its primary flight training facility is at Orlando Executive Airport, where the focus is on flight instruction and aircraft rentals. At the Orlando-Apopka Airport (X04) location it serves as its maintenance and service hub, housing the organisation's factory-trained technicians and Diamond Aircraft Service Center.
