US Helicopter Pilot Training Center to Launch H160 FFS Training in Spring 2026

Texas, USA – HELISIM LLC, the U.S. simulation center of leading helicopter training provider HELISIM, has announced major fleet developments at its Texas-based facility. The company is preparing to introduce full flight simulator training for the Airbus Helicopters H160 in Spring 2026, and is set to roll out a comprehensive upgrade to its existing H145 simulator by Summer 2026.

• HELISIM LLC has completed phase one of its H160 simulator installation, with training set to begin for U.S. and international customers in Spring 2026.

• The H145 simulator upgrade, scheduled for completion by Summer 2026, includes:

  • OEM flight loop for the five-bladed H145

  • Version 10 Helionix avionics suite

  • Dual-IR projectors for advanced Night Vision Goggle (NVG) simulation

  • An upgraded visual database for higher realism

• These investments position HELISIM LLC as a key training hub for advanced Airbus rotorcraft types in North America.
