US Pilot Training Organization is Looking to Expand Operational Team

Florida based AeroStar Training Services, a FAA Certified 141 (Flight School) & 142 (Full Flight Simulator) Training Center serving the needs of individuals seeking pilot certification training and aircraft type ratings on the Airbus A320, Boeing 737, and BBJ, is currently looking for a Flight School Scheduler Manager whose prime responsibility is to keep track of flight student progress and schedule their upcoming events. Schedulers keep track of flight instructor and flight student schedule requests and are responsible for preparing an accurate daily flight schedule. Please see an extract of the job post below.

"Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete, accurate and timely scheduling of flight instructors, students, simulators, and aircraft to ensure flight schedule is efficiently executed.

• Prepare flight schedule for students and instructors
• Maintain timely and accurate lesson planning using syllabus as a guide
• Communicate effectively with customers, instructors, staff, and management
• Update and maintain online flight schedule software
• Coordinate with students for changes
• Ability and willingness to work non-standard hours if needed and Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast paced 24 x 7 operation.
• Manages Instructor efficiency and productivity.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year Aviation experience REQUIRED, Pilot qualification preferred
• FAR: Knowledge of FAA 141 and 142 regulations to operate under all federal regulations
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Exceptional communication skills and customer service
• Capable of following written & verbal instructions, and documented procedures
• Must be able to multi-task with phones, emails, and customers

Dispatching:

• Dispatches and monitoring of all aircraft
• Assigns tail numbers for scheduled aircraft and simulator lines to generate the next day’s schedule.
• Maintains inspection time remaining reports for the Aircraft Maintenance Department
• Generates and disburses flight dispatch and maintenance reports."
