Utah, USA – Wasatch Aero the Utah-based start up training aircraft manufacturer developing a new flight training aircraft platform, is accepting USD 100 fully refundable reservations for its SD3 and SD3T light sport training aircraft, with production beginning in 2027, enabling flight schools, flying clubs, and individual owners to secure production positions with minimal financial risk.

• The USD 100 reservation is fully refundable, providing a no-risk mechanism for flight schools and operators to secure their place in the production queue ahead of position assignment — a low-barrier approach designed to accelerate orderbook growth and gauge market demand.
• The reservation program covers both the SD3 (piston) and SD3T (turboprop) variants, with the SD3T positioned as the first LSA turboprop trainer designed for the upcoming FAA MOSAIC regulatory expansion.
• Production is targeted to begin in 2027, following the company's earlier announcement of more than 30 orders and a pending 65-aircraft flight school contract, indicating growing demand for MOSAIC-ready training platforms.
