US University Seeking to Hire Director of Affiliate Operations for School of Aeronautics in May 2025

Lynchburg, USA– Liberty University’s School of Aeronautics is seeking to hire a Director of Affiliate Operations to manage its extensive network of nearly 100 Flight Training Affiliates (FTAs) across the United States.

Liberty University operates one of the largest networks of Flight Training Affiliates (FTAs) in the U.S., enabling remote students to complete FAA flight training requirements without relocating to campusThe Director of Affiliate Operations will oversee all aspects of FTA management including compliance, customer service, strategic development, and travel-based site visitsThe role reports directly to the School of Aeronautics leadership team and will involve both operational oversight and business developmentThe position is based in Lynchburg, Virginia, and includes regular travel to FTA sites across the U.S.

Job Requirements:

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree and leadership experience with a focus on customer servicePreferred: FAA Part 141 experience, FAA certificates (CFI, CFII, MEI, A&P, or IA), graduate degree in aviation or a related field, and prior 141 school management experience
