USA-based 14DAYPILOT Enters Final Phase of Part 142 Approval for Airbus Program

California, USA – asian and USA based pilot training organistion 14DAYPILOT shared that 14DAYPILOT Type Rating is in the final phase of securing FAA Part 142 certification for its new Airbus A320 PIC Type Rating program. To complete the regulatory approval process, the academy will conduct an FAA-supervised training course in March 2026 with two qualified pilots.

  • The 14-day accelerated A320 PIC Type Rating course is part of the FAA’s required oversight procedures for final Part 142 certification.

  • The program will be offered at cost—USD $10,500—strictly to fulfill the FAA evaluation requirement and is limited to two participants.

  • Training will be conducted under direct FAA supervision to validate curriculum, instructional standards, and simulator procedures.

  • Prerequisites include holding an FAA-issued Private Pilot License (PPL) with Multi-Engine (ME) and Instrument Rating (IR).

In February 2025, AFM spoke with Capt. Dr. Gema Goeyardi – Founder & CEO of 14DAYPILOT Flight Academy where he shared that the academy is also launching an FAA Part 142-approved type rating organisation in Orlando in 2026, initially offering Airbus A320 training, with plans to expand to Boeing 737.
