USA's Avelo Airlines Schedules Consecutive 20-Pilot Training Intakes through 2026

USA – Low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines has welcomed a 20-pilot new-hire class and plans to receive another 20 pilots during August 2026, with further classes scheduled throughout the year.

• The airline said additional classes are scheduled throughout the remainder of 2026 and that it is developing its 2027 hiring plan.
• Avelo operates 15 Boeing 737s (14 Boeing 737-800s and 1 Boeing 737-700) with two additional aircraft scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026.
• Avelo has ordered 50 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft and holds purchase rights for another 50. The original September 2025 order announcement scheduled first deliveries for the first half of 2027.
