Indiana, USA – The National Flight Training Alliance (NFTA) held its 2026 Board of Directors meeting at Republic Airways Training Center in Carmel, Indiana, hosted by Republic Airways and its ab initio training subsidiary LIFT Academy, bringing together flight training industry leaders to advance initiatives strengthening the US flight training sector.

  • Republic Airways and LIFT Academy served as co-hosts, providing access to their Carmel training center and demonstrating their continued commitment to aviation education and workforce development within the NFTA framework.
  • The NFTA's stated mission positions the alliance as the voice of flight training in America, with its Board of Directors meetings serving as the primary governance and strategic planning forum for the organisation's advocacy and industry support activities.
