USA’s Pan Am Flight Academy Highlights FAA-Approved Virtual ATP-CTP Program Advantage in 2026

Florida, USA – Pan Am Flight Academy, a US-based full-flight simulator training provider (Part 142 organisation), has highlighted its FAA-approved Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) ATP-CTP classroom, enabling pilots to complete ground school remotely before attending simulator training in Miami up to 60 days later.

  • The new format allows pilots to complete:

    • 4-day live, instructor-led ground school online via Pan Am’s smart classroom platform

    • 2-day in-person simulator sessions in Miami

  • The FAA-approved structure enables candidates to separate ground and simulator phases by up to 60 days, increasing scheduling flexibility for airline-sponsored and self-sponsored pilots.

  • The VILT model is designed to:

    • Reduce travel-related expenses

    • Provide access to real-time, interactive instruction

    • Maintain regulatory compliance while optimizing training timelines

  • Simulator training is available across multiple aircraft platforms, including:

    • Boeing: B737NG, B737MAX, B747, B757, B767, B777

    • Airbus: A320, A330

    • Saab: SF340
