Florida, USA – Phoenix East Aviation (PEA), a Part 141 flight training provider and FAA-certified repair station operator, is actively recruiting a Lead Supervisor/Director of Maintenance (DOM) to oversee its maintenance operations in compliance with 14 CFR Part 145 and support the airworthiness of its training fleet.

• The Lead Supervisor/DOM will be responsible for the operational management and regulatory oversight of PEA-Wayman Education, LLC’s Repair Station, maintaining strict compliance with FAA regulations including Parts 43, 91, 135 (9 or fewer), and 145.

• This leadership role includes ensuring the airworthiness of all aircraft maintained by the station to meet flight training demand, as well as supervising maintenance personnel and ensuring all work meets FAA-approved quality standards.

• The selected candidate will function as a key liaison with the FAA, sharing responsibility with the Chief/Lead Inspector to uphold maintenance standards and ensure regulatory alignment across all operational levels.

• PEA is seeking candidates with strong familiarity with Part 145 inspection techniques, a Mechanic Certificate under 14 CFR Part 65, and hands-on experience with repair station manuals and compliance documentation.

Required Education and Experience:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Thorough familiarity with 14 CFR Part 145 and related inspection techniques and tools.

• Proficiency in the use of inspection equipment and visual aids.

• Working knowledge of and experience with the Repair Station Manual, Training Manual, and Quality Manual, including maintaining current revisions.

• Enrollment in the Repair Station’s Drug and Alcohol program.

• Certification under 14 CFR Part 65 (Mechanic Certificate with appropriate ratings).

Preferred Education and Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
