USA’s WenMar Aviation Highlights Services to Drone Operators

USA –WenMar Aviation LLC, a U.S.-based FAA-designated agent and regulatory consultancy, is highlighting key compliance requirements for drone operators conducting activities outside the U.S. but holding FAA Part 107 certificates or U.S.-registered drones.

  • Situations that require a U.S. Agent for Service include:U.S. citizens or permanent residents living abroad who hold an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.Foreign nationals certified under FAA Part 107.Drones registered with the FAA but lacking a U.S. mailing address.Foreign-registered drones operating within U.S. airspace.

The FAA's new rule requires applicants and certificate holders under 14 CFR parts 47, 61, 63, 65, 67, and 107 to designate a U.S. agent for service if they have a foreign address with no U.S. physical address.
