Utah Flight School to Host November 2025 Airline-Sponsored Flight Time Building Info Day

Utah, USA – regional carrier Mesa Airlines is set to host a recruitment and outreach event at Cornerstone Aviation in Utah as part of its Mesa Pilot Development (MPD) initiative. The session targets aspiring pilots in the region interested in fast-tracking their flight time accumulation and aviation career development.

• Mesa Airlines will hold three information sessions on November 5, 2025, at Cornerstone Aviation's Ogden campus, located at 4225 Airport Road, Utah.
• The event aims to inform students about Mesa Pilot Development (MPD), which offers structured time-building programs and direct airline engagement.

Cornerstone is Utah's premier flight school and the only private institution with a full spectrum of 25 FAA-approved courses, from Private Pilot to Multi-Engine Instructor. With a mission of creating the world’s safest and best-prepared pilots, students receive the top training in the industry. Regional carrier Mesa Airlines had announced in September the successful progression of eight (8) new First Officers through its Mesa Pilot Development Program.

In August Mesa Airlines had announced an updated pricing structure for its time-building offering under the Mesa Pilot Development (MPD) program, aimed at supporting pilots in achieving the FAA’s Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) minimum hour requirement.

• Mesa Airlines is offering structured flight time blocks at $75 per hour, with aircraft rental costs excluded from instructional charges:
• 250 hours: $20,475 including 9.2% Glendale tax.
• 500 hours: $40,950 including tax.
• 1000 hours: $81,900 including tax.
• 1250 hours: $102,375 including tax.
• Instructional rate is $150 per hour; aircraft rate is $75 per hour.
• Payment terms require 100 hours upfront, with the remaining balance due upon program completion.
