Utah's Blitz Aviation Welcomes First 3 Piper Pilot 100i Training Aircraft

Utah, USA – Blitz Aviation, a flight training provider based at Ogden-Hinckley Airport, has taken delivery of its first factory-new Piper Pilot 100i aircraft, completing the initial aircraft order announced earlier in 2026 and introducing new training capacity for its private and instrument pilot programs.

• Three 2026-model Piper Pilot 100i aircraft have arrived at Blitz Aviation, with the flight school confirming that students will use the aircraft for private pilot, instrument and subsequent stages of flight training.
• Blitz Aviation's published fleet inventory separately lists six aircraft:
  • 3x Cessna 172 variants
  • 1x Piper Archer II
  • 1x Cirrus SR22T
  • 1x Beechcraft Baron
• The school is a member of the Piper Flight School Alliance, which provides participating training organisations with manufacturer support, parts access and other operational resources.
• AFM previously reported that Blitz Aviation joined the Piper Flight School Alliance in April 2026, placing its initial Pilot 100i order with deliveries scheduled for late 2026. The school also indicated plans for further fleet expansion in subsequent years.
• The Piper Pilot 100i is based on the PA-28-181 airframe and features Garmin G3X Touch glass-cockpit avionics and a 180 hp Lycoming IO-360-B4A engine. The aircraft is classified as a Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) and is designed for primary and instrument flight training.
