Virginia, USA – Liberty University School of Aeronautics has been granted Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Examining Authority for its Part 141 Private Pilot Training Course Outline (TCO), a milestone that strengthens the university’s ability to independently evaluate and certify students progressing through its Private Pilot training programme.
Examining Authority allows the School of Aeronautics to conduct end-of-course evaluations in-house, reducing reliance on external designated pilot examiners and increasing scheduling flexibility for students and instructors.
The designation is expected to accelerate student training timelines, improve operational efficiency and support higher throughput across Liberty’s growing pilot pipeline.
